Lifelmager Thermal Film
 Ferrania Lifelmager Thermal Film (TF) is the media designed to be specifically used together with the Ferrania Lifelmager 5000 dry digital printer for providing high quality grayscale medical images. Ferrania Lifelmager TF is a special coated thermal film composed by a thick polyester base layer (7 mil) with a thermal sensitive emulsion layer on the top. Ferrania Lifelmager TF is sensitive only to very high temperatures and therefore it doesn't require the use of special protective-light film cartridges. It can be used and loaded in full daylight without any constraint for the operator.
Its special top layer emulsion assures the generation of medical images with low fog, optimal stability, high consistency and a maximum optical density greater than 3.2. The images produced on this film by the Ferrania Lifelmager 5000 have the same look of the conventional X-ray films and the same quality of the laser systems. Since the Ferrania Lifelmager TF is a thermal film, no chemical, no waste disposal, no darkrooms and time-consuming adjustments are needed. That makes the Ferrania Lifelmager TF, together with the Ferrania Lifelmager 5000, the ideal ecological printing system.

Archivability
Ferrania Lifelmager TF compliances to ISO 4566 and ANSI IT 9.11 directives. Ferrania Lifelmager TF guarantees diagnostic image quality for a minimum periods of 20 years when stored at the maximum temperature of 25° С and relative humidity between 40% and 60 %.
